Objective: |
To recruit and nurture MFA chapters; encourage and assist chapters in producing field days and other educational events deemed to be of value by chapter members; actively solicit regular reports on chapter activities from the chapter chairs; promote publicity for the chapters and their events through the MFA newsletter and other means, promote partnership between chapters and other organizations, such as U of M Extension, that will help the chapters achieve their goals. |

Coordinate the annual Stewardship grant application process including:
· Solicit applications from Woodland Committees;
· consolidate the applications into a single document to be submitted to DNR;

· monitor committees with successful applications to ensure projects are carried out;
· ensure applications for reimbursement of funds are properly submitted to MFA’s treasurer. |
