Fridays with a Forester: Silvopasture and Woodland Grazing

This online discussion series sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension will provide research-based information about some of the current topics being discussed in Minnesota forests and woodlands. Sessions will run every other Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., from Feb 18 to May 13, 2022.

We hope you'll join us to discuss some of the key issues and questions around forest and woodlands facing Minnesota landowners.

These online sessions will be very informal and open to all interested. Each session will start with a brief presentation (about 20 minutes) by the presenter, followed by questions and discussion, framed around landowner/participant questions on the topic.

Speakers for the series include Extension Educators from the University of Minnesota Extension. Topics are:

9am March 18 - Citizen Science and Invasive Species
9am April 1 - Healthy Woodlands and Climate Adaptation
9am April 15 - Timber Sales/Harvest and New Wood Products
9am April 29 - Silvopasture and Woodland Grazing
9am May 13 - Family Friendly Earth Care
